I am so blessed by your programs, God Has been so good. At times I get discouraged I find encouragements through your programs. Also I am a person who through childhood was not able to come to accept myself as I am. This is because I was never accepted as I am when I was born (as told later). My parents were very good but it only at that time my father wanted a baby boy but unfortunately I turned out to be a girl.
The healing of the heart is taking place now, but I sometimes tempted to refer back to those past hints.

…..She was given by an aunt a $20 note on Friday the 6th at 2pm in her hospital bed, she gave her elder sister a $10 to buy a chicken & chips which was the last food she ate, before she went on Saturday morning.
We went to a cell meeting at Laucala beach where her favourite was sung. She gave $10 for offering and the rest is what she is giving now to support the Radio Light as we used to do.

I am a 21 year old university student and your radio programs certainly give me a sense of direction in my life especially during this crucial age where many adolescents wander away and follow wrong paths.
This long school break which I’m having is turning out to be one of the best holidays because I discovered Radio Light, through the good news spreads. Through Radio Light I have learnt to prioritize God as above everything. The joy of walking with the Lord is beyond words to describe how I am feeling with turning of every second.
My parents and I have been born again Christians in the year 1993 – a couple of days just after my mum was healed fro m her regular asthma attacks. It was the same year my dad lost his job. Turning away from Hinduism to Christianity wasn’t easy for my parents but God’s calling in our lives was far more stronger – and looking at things now. My mums completely healed, my dad’s got a job and I am about to start my postgraduate studies. Your ministry was one of the biggest influence lately that has made us grow more closer to the Lord. It is just so wonderful walking with the Lord and knowing that your place is secured during the last days.
Mr Rose I pray that God will bless your ministry through air and the special events that are coming up in February. I know my family will be amongst those other families helping during the fundraisings and I once again like to thank you for the wonderful programs your play on air though I miss Adventures in Odyssey.

I thank the Lord for Radio Light and for you and your family. My family and I have been blessed through the programs which have been aired daily. Praise God!
I really have to share what Radio Light have done to us as family. It has been over a year (could be more as far as I recall) since my husband led us for family prayer at home. Since we moved to the city from 91/2 miles Nasinu he has been involved in a lot of things which take him away from me and the kids. With the Lord’s help I have been sitting with the children praying that their father would be able to sit with us one day and pray. At home, I used to have fm 93.6 on, then my husband would come and change stations (FM 96 or the Fijian ones); when he goes out the kids and I change back to fm 93.6, and it used to go on like that – back and forth. About months ago, I noticed that he didn’t change stations when he got home, but sat down and listened to the gospel songs, and whatever programs that was on air. Then I also noticed that he began sitting alone and praying in the bedroom. I thank God for that whenever the children and I had our evening prayers, but I was also reminding the Lord that we are a family and it isn’t me that should be leading the prayers but my husband as head of the family. Even at these times, my husband used to try and be in time especially for Chuck Swindoll’s program.
There was one particular one about Joseph sometime last week that really hit him (re-temptation). PRAISE GOD! Last night, for the first time since we moved to the city, he finally got and led us in our family prayers. Focus on family has played its part in bringing home to him the responsibility of a father not only in the financial area but more importantly in the spiritual programs. Our radio is tuned to Radio Light night and day (no joke) and I give all the glory for the unity we now have. I am reminded of Romans 8:28.

This week in one of Dr. James Dobson programs which Ravi Zacheriah spoke on about the life of Daniel got my attention. The series by Chuck Swindols was exciting. As a young man who is working in a circular world and been surrounded by the world enticement, it has challenge me to stand for God, not to compromise his truth especially like Daniel to stay pure before him. Those programs has really create in me the desire for God and to stay true and faithful to Him. The Psalm of David in Ps 119:9-16 was my archer and I really appreciate those program which really make to understand what God is wanting to teach me. Yeah, I just want to thank you for been a vessel of God in such time like this, delivering God’s Word not only to me but to the nation as a whole.

Dear Radio Light
Last night as I walked amongst the crowd at the Hibiscus Festival with my 1yr 6months old daughter, I was given a Radio Light sticker by one gentleman whom unfortunately I didn’t get the name. I stopped and took a few minutes to talk to him and he insisted on giving me a program. I told the gentleman that I listen occasionally to your wonderful program.
What I really wanted to share with you dear radio light was, last night in the midst of all the loud worldly music, the crowd, the traffic, the people hurrying different directions – as I stood there briefly with this man of God handing this sticker to me, all I could focus on was the gospel music playing softly in a nearby shed. We were at the pavement on the road and he offered to go in the mud to collect for me the program, which he wanted to give me.
I, last night was burdened by all sorts of things….but that few brief moment, I felt peace, the peace I very much needed. I therefore dear radio light, really am not sure why I am mailing to you about this but if there is any way you could help me……. I would be deeply blessed.

I’m writing to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation towards you and your radio ministry at Radio Light. You have touched and strengthened my life especially through your ministering to my spirit.
My family of 4 adults and 1 child has been spiritually lifted continually through your station.
Further, we have been able to touch other lives that have been coming to our home with programs like ‘Focus on the Family” for adults, “Adventures with Odyssey” for our child and her little friends.
On 10th of January, your ministry, through Chuck Swindol’s message, touched a young man’s soul as he was heading towards work. As was the practice at home, we tuned in early on the 19th and he happened to walk past and overheard the great preacher. He could not continue his journey and stayed closed to the house to hear the completion of this message. My helper went out into the compound to find this man standing there looking as though he had been struck by something. Upon being asked, he said that the message had deeply touched him and that he was looking for somewhere quiet to confess himself to the Lord. I praise the Lord for his reaching out that day and I will again Praise the Lord for using the ministry into my family and I pledge my total support for your ministry and all its good works.

Thank you for replying to my e-mail and just really wanna thank you for just standing there in the cold handing out stickers to me, which at that point in time was a real “Light” to me.
It’s amazing how God chooses ways to talk to us. That night, as I looked around with the searching and longing heart to have some kind of peace, I thought that with my daughter at the grounds with all that is going on there. I would somehow be contented and all that is within me will just disappear, but it did not, as we had been there for over an hour. Your sharing of the light was my fortress for the night. You have really blessed me and my family. You do not know how much you did that night and I thank God for brothers like you would brave all so just to spread His light.
I couldn’t have imagined what could have happened if I had not gone one of you lights that night and I still smile to myself and have shared to my best friends the blessing I had and how I tried to focus back to God through a radio sticker. Thank so very much and I pray that God will truly use you in every possible way to reach to those lost souls, the torn and the broken hearted.

Here is a story of an Indo Fijian man
…………….This taxi driver was driving in an afternoon when he tried to select his station using the radio dial. While tuning around he came to the 93.6 FM frequency. As he tried to go to the next station, his dial button broke and he could not fixed it back again. He got stuck there and Radio Light was the only radio station one can listened to in that taxi. He did not even know what station that was. He began to enjoy listening and after some time and as he came to know where the station was, he came to Deuba one day to see for himself the studio from where the broadcast was coming and then he told us his story. He is now a Christian……..
GOD works is miraculous ways for His wonders to perform…..

Just a few more later…
A TAXI driver from Suva came in and shared how a passenger who boarded his taxi was touched and his life changed after listening to a program on Naya Jiwan. This particular passenger was contemplating and seriously thinking of taking his own life (suicide) because he felt nothing was happening to help change his circumstances in his family. He was going through a very bad relationship situation with his wife. The passenger stepped into the taxi and at that time ‘Focus On The Family’ program was playing on air on Naya Jiwan in the taxi. After a few minutes of listening to the program followed by a few minutes of silence, the passenger asked the driver to go back straight and drop him at his home so that that he may ask for forgiveness from his wife. The driver took this man back to his home and then he came straight to the studio to share this experience of how the Spirit of the Lord intervened in the life of this man through this medium and saved his soul.
NAYA JIWAN
One of the listeners from Suva testified, that one of her neighbors came to her home shared with her the problem which she was going through regarding her son’s departure from home. He just left the family. She was so dishearten and badly hoped her son’s return. While she was sharing and crying at the same time, Naya Jiwan’s broadcast was on in the living room. Live prayer session was going on air that afternoon. The Prayer host was praying for a particular son who actually left the family not considering the heartache he had caused them. While this lady was listening to the live prayer session going on, The Spirit of the Lord touched her. This woman was a non-believer but she started praying anyway right there. After few days her son returned home. There was rejoicing in the family and now the whole family has made that commitment to Christ. They are serving Him now. This dear sister came to share how unbelievable God could use this kind of medium to even touch hearts like in that situation.
N S. (Mrs) originally from Ba testified, when she came to Suva with her family to make a living here, they struggled so much while looking for employment so as to support her family. She became very very frustrated. One day she was going through the dial on her radio and she came across Radio Naya Jiwan and could hear the broadcast clearly. There was a Gospel song playing on air that instantly got her attention. The song brought a great encouragement to her heart and she continued to listen. Her hope and trusting in God began to grow again. After few weeks God opened doors for her. She got a job in a garment factory eventually. Even though her husband was a non-believer and she was unable to go to church, she build her relationship with God by listening to the Radio broadcast and praying for the whole family to be saved. She carries a small transistor radio with her to work hoping that God would also speak to others in the workplace just like how it happened to her.
A S. (Mr) of Nausori. He came in and shared that on one occasion he go got into this particular taxi and then requested the driver to switch the stations so that they listened to the Naya Jiwan’s broadcast. In this situation, the driver (Mr S) got introduced to the station. He switched stations and they started listening together to what that was going on air. (Mr S) started began to enjot the programs and music on air and then continued listening. Barely a month later, and a month of continual listening, he gave his life to Christ and now is attending an AOG church..
S (Mrs) from Nadera, gave a call by phone right from the Nadera Mandir (Hindu Temple). She was a member of the Hindu priest family, and she had been listening to Naya Jiwan and had always been blessed by the programs and songs. She joined in during live prayer sessions each afternoon and asked that we prayed for her family as well. She gave her life to Christ some time ago and is enjoying a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
