DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Statement of Faith

• We believe the Bible is the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:21)
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Hebrews 11:3)
• We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory. (Matthew 3:16,17)
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. Who came from the Father and the Son, to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; to regenerate the believing sinner, and to indwell, guide, instruct, cleanse and empower the believer for godly living and service. (Leviticus 11:44, 45; Luke 1: 73 – 75; John 17:17; I Thess. 5: 23-23; Hebrews 10: 14 – 15)
• We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Psalm 130:4; Jeremiah 36:3; Acts 13:38,39; Romans 5:1; I John 3:7; Revelation 19:8)
• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Isaiah 55:3; John 3: 3, 5; Ephesians 2:1; Colossians 2:13; Titus 3:5)
• We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Leviticus 11:44, 45; Luke 1: 73 – 75; John 17:17; I Thess. 5: 23-23; Hebrews 10: 14 – 15)
• In the Blessed Hope — the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming. (Daniel 7:13, 14; Matthew 24: 30, 31; Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4: 15-17; Revelation 22:20)
• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of Eternal Life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of Eternal Damnation. (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 25:46; John 5: 28, 29; 14: 1-3; Romans 14:10; I Corinthians 15: 10; Revelations 20:12, 13; 21:8)
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
